The majestic appearance of the Pinglu Canal is beginning to emerge

After more than three years of construction, the main project of the Pinglu Canal in Guangxi has entered the final sprint stage, and some waterways have already taken shape.


The backbone project of the Western Land Sea New Channel - Pinglu Canal, with a total investment of about 72.7 billion yuan, starts at the mouth of Pingtang River in Xijin Reservoir Area, Hengzhou City, Nanning, and enters the Beibu Gulf along the Qinjiang River through Luwu Town, Lingshan County, Qinzhou, with a total length of about 134.2 kilometers. According to the plan, the Pinglu Canal will be completed and navigable by the end of 2026.
